The team
The Norton Rose Fulbright Luxembourg office, which has been set up in June 2017, consists of a dynamic and enthusiastic team working closely with our 50 offices globally, and offers employees and associates the opportunity to play an integral part in consolidating the office’s presence within the Luxembourg market.
Our team is made up of experienced and multilingual lawyers with extensive knowledge of the Luxembourg legal and regulatory environment and covers the firm’s core practices, including corporate/M&A, investment funds, banking and finance, real estate, employment, litigation and cross-border tax planning. Availability, quality and responsiveness are the hallmarks of our team.
The position
An opportunity has arisen for a full-time Associate position within our Tax Practice in Luxembourg.
The successful candidate will take an active role in providing tailor-made legal advice to our clients on a wide range of tax aspects.
Education and Skills Required
- Master’s degree in law (first state exam in Germany, Master 2 from Belgium, Luxembourg or France) and ideally completed by a post-graduate degree in business law, business administration or finance (Ecole de commerce, LLM, MBA or similar)
- Lawyer registered at the Luxembourg Bar or able to exercise under foreign home title;
- 4 to 6 years of working experience within a leading law firm preferably in Luxembourg;
- Fluent in English and French;
- Excellent communication and drafting skills;
- Excellent organisational and analytical skills; and
- Dynamic team player
