Job Scope
- Assist and facilitate the Main Teachers in conducting computing classes during training phase
- Inspiring children and teaching coding to children (Aged 4-6)
- Helping out in logistical support for key classes and events
- Perform the necessary administrative and operational work to effectively run the classes
- Taking over as Main teacher after some training phase
Requirements
- Weekend/Weekday evening classes, each class duration 1hour/1.5 hours
- Able to commit to min. 2 classes per week
- On the Job training provided
- A self-starter, willing to identify and act on things quickly
- Excellent communication skills and good with children
- Students/Graduates from university/polytechnic preferably in the field of Engineering/Science/IT/Computer Science
- Knowledge of Scratch Junior, Scratch, Microbit (in Scratch and Makecode Platforms) and Python is a plus. Knowledge in other coding apps like CodeSpark is a bonus
- Helping to expand curriculum into interesting platforms such as Minecraft Education etc.
Classes are usually held on weekends morning and afternoons, as well as weekday late afternoon/evenings
Part-time hours: 4 per week

Salary: $20.00 ~ $25.00 per hour; Hourly rate dependent on performance as well as how long you have been teaching with us.
